The ShieldGold home warranty plan covers the parts and components of 14 home systems, as well as 9 kitchen and laundry appliances. ShieldGold does not include coverage for roof leak repairs, one free HVAC tune-up per contract term, or unlimited AC refrigerant like the ShieldPlatinum plan does.
With the ShieldGold home warranty plan, there is a $50,000 total limit per agreement term and we never limit the number of service requests you can make. Heating and AC systems will have a maximum coverage limit of $5,000 per covered system per agreement term and $2,000 per covered appliance per agreement term.
